Cucina Urbana

The San Diego restaurant scene continues to expand outside of the Gaslamp District to a trendy spot in the heart of Bankers Hill.  One of our favorite restaurants that is always a must stop with an abundance of reasonably priced wine options (there is a wine shop in the back of the restaurant) and food choices from a tasty Italian sausage pizza to deep fried risotto balls and pumpkin salad. The energy is vibrant and if you don't have a reservation you can certainly try to poach a spot at the bar and if that doesn't work, there is a self order spot along the wall.  You walk up to the bartender and order.  Enjoy your meal at Cucina Urbana and we'll see you there next time we find ourselves needing some San Diego sunshine.
