Cavtat, Croatia

We expected that we would have another sunny day in Croatia and we got lucky with the weather for one tennis match.  About an hour after the match started, it began raining and although we could have conttinued playing on the clay courts, we determined it was time to explore the quiet town of Cavtat.

The picture above depicts the town of Cavtat.  After a quick lunch in a small shack-like restaurant on the water, we stopped in an artist studio to chat with a local artist.   Most of her paintings of Cavtat included these boats or at least a variety of these boats along the shore.  The rain normally would have dampened our mood, but we were elevated seeing such a cute town.
