Seattle's Best Patios
With the current weather report predicting temperatures in the high 70’s to low 80’s over the next week, it is the perfect time to welcome the sunshine and soak in the much-needed Vitamin D on Seattle’s finest patios. Here are a few patios we love to frequent, especially on a sunny day!
Von’s raised sidewalk patio is the perfect place to people watch and enjoy a lunch, afternoon cocktails, or dinner. With a diverse menu to satisfy all taste buds, you can order wood-fired pizzas, pasta, fresh seafood, salads, and Hamburgs. Most importantly, they serve Spun Sugar Cocktails and Von’s famous Scratch Martini is only $5!
Bastille is a fine French restaurant with a spacious patio located In the quaint neighborhood of Ballard. Dedicated to organic, sustainable agriculture, they have their own 4,500 square foot rooftop garden where lettuces and herbs are grown. Weekend brunch on the patio is pure happiness, especially with the Challah French Toast and the rooftop sourced Gem Lettuces.
Get your Spanish tapas fix by visiting Pintxo in Belltown. You can chill on their 2nd Avenue sidewalk patio with a bottle of Tempranillo and plate full of Croquetas de Jamon Serrano, Tortilla Española, Crab Stuffed Piquillo Peppers, and Queso de Cabra.
Conveniently located above Lake Union, with outstanding views of downtown Seattle and GasWorks Park, Little Water Cantina has the perfect patio for those much needed rays, traditional Mexican cuisine, and margaritas! Order a flight of tequila with your seasonal margarita, a Wild Boar Torta Ahogada, and the fresh Guacamole & Chips, and kick back on the patio to absorb the summer-like weather.
Nestled halfway down the Harbor Steps, Lecosho has a peaceful patio that is conveniently removed from the hustle and bustle of Seattle sidewalks. This is a great spot for a business lunch or dinner. On the lunch menu, try the Painted Hills Burger, the Cubano, or the Fish Stew. For dinner, Grilled Octopus, Steamed Local Mussels, Carlton Farms Pork Tenderloin, and Duck Confit Risotto are all divine choices.
With breathtaking views of Puget Sound and the Olympic Mountains, Maximilien has one of Seattle’s most sought after patios. You’ll likely have a short wait time for patio seating, but the view and the French food are well worth the wait. The Croque-Madame, Le Canard, and Steak aux Roquefort are a few of our favorite lunch menu items and all pair beautifully with a bottle of rosé.
We love Terra Plata’s “earth to plate” concept as much as we love their beautiful outdoor patio perched above Melrose Avenue on Capitol Hill. The patio is surrounded by an edible garden and those beautiful veggies make their way into the delicious cuisine. Don’t miss out on their special Paella Night every Monday!
